for the year 2000 and the new century?
In my prayers and dreams I hope and wish for the healing
of the wounds of our past years of atrocities and inhumanity
so that we can walk forward proudly with our children
to build a new century,
leaving behind our pain, our hate, our astrocities
and not forgetting our inhumanity towards our own fellow men.
May the spirit of our ancestors guide us into the 21st century!
